This plan is for horse owners not yard owners, with HIGH risk cover.

How It Works

Plan Stages

Breaking the plan down into stages is the easiest way to visualise how it’s laid out.

Stage 1; Initial Consultation
– Parasite profile construction, with detailed risk assessment and plan document.
– Initial Faecal Egg Count Test.

After purchasing you will be prompted to book a consultation. Here a dedicated consultant carries out a highly detailed parasite profile and begins forming your plan. You will also receive your first FEC test which will finalise the layout of your plan.

Stage 2; Plan In Action
– All remaining tests
– Wormer

From your initial consultation, after receiving your plan, it commences. It’s hard to outline a particular routine here as our programmes really are tailored to your horse. Broadly speaking, you will receive your tests and wormers throughout the year as per your plan.

The entire process is automated so all tests are dispatched, with pre-paid returns. Wormers are also automatically dispatched and results with feedback are all automatically emailed to you meaning you really don’t need to do anything.

What’s Included

Each programme takes a comprehensive approach covering all areas needed. The only additional costs there could be are wormers (if you decide to purchase through us) and targeted tests if we notice something specific in your horses results, or their living environment.

Tests;
High risk plans include 6 x Faecal Egg Count Tests & 2 x Tapeworm Floatation Tests throughout the year.
Additional tests can be added if you have a specific concern or your consultant deems it necessary.

Key Points;
– Automatic delivery of tests as per plan.
– Tests include pot, gloves, control sheet & pre-paid return envelope.
– Lab analysis, every sample tested twice.
– Results emailed within 24 hours (48hrs during busy periods).

Parasite Profile;
Each plan starts with the formation of a bespoke parasite profile. This is a 10-point (UK’s most comprehensive) risk assessment that takes into account varying aspects of your horses individual information and living environment to ensure the plan is most effective.

Wormers/Treatment;
Feedback from consultants is given throughout the year advising as and when to treat your horse’s parasite situation. Wormers can be purchased through us or sourced yourself. Wormers purchased through IW will be billed as an additional add-on for the month needed.
